Children are an integral part of life at West Hills.  Our ministry to children includes them in all aspects of West Hills' church life including special music times in the Sunday service, Children's sermons, all-church game nights and age-appropriate service activities.  We also offer regular family-oriented activities to help build strong families and teach our children about following Christ. Our children learn God's Word in weekly Sunday school classes, a summer sports camp at our facility, and summer camps at Camp of the Cascades. 

Children's Sunday School, Sundays 9:15-10:15am 

Please note there is no Sunday School June 13th-early September.

Children's Sunday School classes are offered for Preschool (2-pre-K), Grades K-2, Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6. Sunday School classes include Bible Stories, crafts, games and music. Please join us!

Childcare is available for children younger than 2 during the Sunday School hour in our church nursery, staffed by loving, qualified volunteers.

Nursery and Preschool program, Sundays 10:30-11:45

West Hills offers childcare through kindergarten during the Sunday morning service. Children under 3 are cared for in our nursery. Our nursery has a quiet area for nursing mothers and/ or sleeping babies as well as an open play area. Children 3-K participate in our preschool program in the Preschool Room.

Saturday June 5th, 3-5pm  - Cosmic Bowling at Valley Lanes

The Children's Commission would like to invite families with children of all ages to a Cosmic Bowling Party at Valley Lanes on Saturday June 5th from 3-5pm. It's all you can bowl for $10 including shoe rental. Come bowl with us!

Stay N Play - Summer Picnic and Play Time After Church (11:30am-1pm)

Sundays June 13th, July 11th and August 8th

Everyone is invited, including families with young children, to pack a picnic lunch and hang out after our Sunday service for a fun time of fellowship outside.  Bring any sports equipment (soccer balls, badmitton, etc) you may want to kick around while the little ones enjoy our play structure and sandboxes.  Bring hats and sunscreen!

June 30-July 4, 2010 - Independence Day Family Camp, Cascades Camp.

A West Hills favorite for the whole church congregation!

August 1-5, 2010 - Summer Sports Camp at our facility for
children in grades 1-5.  Sports Camp will be Sunday through Thursday
evening from 5:45-8pm. Children choose from Soccer, Basketball or
Cheerleading for their sports focus for the week. Registration
information coming soon. Fee is $20/ child. Fee includes a
water bottle, daily snack and pizza on the last night.
