One More Row Garden Share-2009

You are invited to be a “mustard seed.” With the growing price of fuel and food, many are in need of fresh produce. Plant an extra row of vegetables this spring along with your normal planting. When harvest time comes, bring it to the church to share. Produce that is left over will be collected and delivered to the Neighborhood House in Multnomah the next day to serve those in need. You can also deliver your extra produce directly to the Neighborhood House. Your “mustard seed of kindness” sown with God’s grace will become a blessing “that many birds (individuals and families) can come and perch on.” Favorite vegetables to consider planting: tomatoes, mustard greens, collard greens, broccoli, green beans, and any kind of peppers.
